MEDIA CENTER STAFF Mrs. Moses, Library Media Specialist 925-3062 x126 Mrs. Grissett, Media Clerk 924-3062 X124 The Media Center is a center of activity at Ribault Middle School. We have a collection of approximately 14,000 titles. The primary purpose of the media center is to extend the learning experience of the classroom by providing materials for broadening and enrichment; it also to develop students a love of books and proficiency in their use. HOURS Monday through Friday 7:15 am to 2:35 pm LOAN PERIODS Two weeks – Books (Maximum of two books). OVERDUE BOOKS Fines are 5 cents per day with a maximum of $2 for each overdue book. Students with overdue or lost books may not check out additional books. Overdue notices will be provided monthly. COMPUTERS The Media Center has 10 student computer stations. Student may use these any time provided they have computer use permission form on file at the school. BOOK CHECK-OUT/BOOK RETURN The automated circulation system requires students to present their ID cards to the media center staff who checks for overdue books or outstanding fines. Students must return books to the book drop located at the circulation desk. |
