It
is with great honor in being the principal of
Ribault Middle School "Home of The Mighty Colts".
RMS has the best academic students in Duval County
along with dedicated
teachers and staff. It is this commitment that is
going to lead this great school to become a
remarkable school.
I am charging all the "Colt Family" to continue to
strive for excellence in continuing your academic
journey and become the BEST citizen you can be.
Remember to follow your dreams and sour like an
eagle.
It
is great to see how energized and excited our
students are about Saturday School. We are averaging
over 200 students at Saturday School and they are
working exceptionally hard to do well on the FCAT.
We had our second visit from the State Department of
Education and received positive reviews.
Our students and teachers working very hard and the
Department of Education was satisfied with Ribault
Middle School. PTA will be having a Parent Night
on Thursday March 3, at 6:00. It
will be followed by our monthly PTA and Magnet
meeting . We are asking everyone to attend this
important meeting.
Congratulations to
our Girls and Boys basketball team. They are both
undefeated and we only have 4 games left. Come out
and cheer on the "Mighty Colts".
Thanks to all the students of RMS for doing their
best on the District Benchmark Test. Although the
results won’t be back until after the holiday break,
I’m positive that we will do well. Saturday school
starts January 8, 2011 and I expect to see
“Everyone” present as we prepare for the FCAT test.
Students let’s make history and turn Ribault Middle
into an
“A”
school. I am also proud to announce that Ribault
Middle is an
Early High School Magnet School.
The students in the magnet
program will be able to earn up to 3 high school
credits before they enter the 9th
grade. This will be an awesome opportunity for the
rising students that attend this prestigious middle
school. I am so proud of being the principal of
such a wonderful community of students and families.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday.
Students remember the three guiding principles that
all
“Mighty Colts”
should follow:
Be on Time Everyday, Do your Best Everyday, and
Follow Directions Everyday.
