Welcome to another great year at Rufus E. Payne Elementary an IB candidate school. With our recent increase in school grade we are certainly On the Right Track Towards Academic Excellence. Aboard the Knowledge Train Express our engineers are equipped to navigate the railways with precision and calibration, while standing firm as experts and going where no eagle has gone before. Our International Learning Lab, Cultural Art Lab, Chinese curriculum, and state of the art technology equipped classrooms are all a testament to our commitment to provide the best education within Duval County Public Schools.

As I enter my 6th year of administration, I am excited and honored to be a part of this Learning Community. Rufus E. Payne has a rich history of academic EXCELLENCE and it is my pleasure to continue the strong academic focus that has been set before me.

We are prepared to become life-long learners through academic rigor and other experiences that foster a belief in higher education. We want all of our students to have a healthy view of themselves as academic champions who are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Educating children is a Team effort and families are our key players. Together we can maintain a model school that serves as a beacon of hope in our community.
