Classroom Supply Lists

Kindergarten 1st Grade 2nd Grade
  • 2 PRIMARY Composition Books
  • Backpack
  • Pencils
  • 5 three prong folders with pockets
  • Ziplock bags - all sizes
  • Brown paper bag sandwich bags
  • 1 paper towel roll

Choose two of any of the following for classroom use

  • Paper plates
  • Paper cups
  • Paper napkins
  • Plastic eating utensils
  • Toothpicks
  • Lysol spray
  • Washable markers
  • Individually wrapped snacks or candy
  • Clorox wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Kleenex
  • One skein of yarn (any color)

 
  • Backpack
  • 2 packs of #2 pencils (plain yellow, no decorations please)
  • 2 packs of crayons (24-count)
  • 3 Composition books (no names please)
  • 3 large glue sticks
  • 1 box of two-gallon "zipper style" plastic storage bags
  • Stickers
  • 3 bottles of hand sanitizer
  • Air freshener spray
  • 2 bottles of  Clorox antibacterial wipes
  • 1 pack of brightly colored printer paper
  • 1 pack of white printer paper
  • 1 large bottle of Elmer's liquid glue
  • 1 - 1.5 inch 3 ring binder, white with presentation pocket
  • 2 dozen #2 pencils - plain yellow with no decorations
  • 1 package of erasers - pink chunky ones
  • 1 package of highlighters
  • 4 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper (loose leaf)
  • 20 - 3 prong pocket folders - plain folders - no pictures or decorations (4 red, 4 blue, 4 yellow, 4 green, 4 orange)
  • 1 package of 24 count colored pencils (Twistable by Crayola)
  • School scissors - blunt edge
  • 4 glue sticks
  • Ruler with inch and centimeter marks
  • 8 composition books
  • 1 package of at least 100 4" x 6" index cards (for research and flash cards)
  • 2 reams of copy paper
  • 2 pump bottles of hand sanitizer
  • 1 bottle of antibacterial soap
  • 1 box of Kleenex
  • 1 container of Lysol or Clorox wipes
  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 1 each of quart and gallon sized Ziploc style bags

Classroom Wish List

  • 1 package of Sharpie Markers
  • 1 package of binder clips
  • 1 package of mixed sized metal rings (that open for flash cards and research)
  • Gently used books for the classroom (Chapter Books Reading Levels 1-5)


     R.V. Daniels houses the Gifted and Talented magnet school for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade students. Students move automatically to our other campus at Susie Tolbert for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades. Our program is designed for children performing above their current Grade levels and offers a rich, fast-paced curriculum as well as specialized enrichment programs such as full day Gifted on campus ("Flight") and EAGLES to provide additional experiences in critical thinking and creative expression.  We encourage active participation from our parents and the community and offer a wide range of experiences and trips to our students.
