The Asian Turtle Crisis is a very real problem. On this page, I am not going to "recreate the wheel," as it were, but will give just a brief overview of the issue and then provide many links to information and the works of some conservation organizations.

As a side note, although this page is titled "Asian Turtle Crisis," the crisis is actually extending to many parts of the world outside of Asia. This may have started in Asia, but now, turtles around the world are in serious decline because of it.

Here at Sandalwood High School, we currently maintain 2 Asian species and 2 se. U.S. species.

The links to the right are to all species of turtles and tortoises we maintain here at Sandalwood High School. They are all property of Mike Monlezun, except for those that belong to the Turtle Survival Alliance.
