Earth Day - April 22, 2005

The Sandalwood Herpetology Club was invited to the Earth
Day celebration at Kid's Kampus, downtown Jacksonville for the second
year in a row. We had 6 members attend and, once again, we were
the hit of the day! The gopher tortoises and other hands-on
artifacts thrilled the hundreds of young children who attended.
The highlight for many of the youngsters was holding a reptile for the
first time. |
