Multiple Intelligences

San Jose Elementary is a Multiple Intelligences Magnet serving Zone 1 and Zone 2. We are a standards-based school instruction is based on the proposition that students have abilities in eight areas of intelligence: language, mathematics, spatial skills, music, movement, self-understanding, understanding of others and understanding of nature.

Dual Language

A Dual Language Program is an educational model that integrates native English speakers and native Spanish speakers where academic subjects are taught to all students in English and Spanish. The goal is to promote high academic achievement, first and second language development, and cross-cultural understanding.

Arabic Language and Culture Initiative

The study of Arabic provides students with unique skills to participate in the global world. Arabic is a semitic language spoken by more than one billion people around the world. Arabic is the most widely spoken language in the world. The Arabic alphabet is the second most widely used alphabet in the world.
