Students, please bring in money ($3 per bag) in an envelope or baggie with your name and teacher’s name clearly marked by Friday, 2/10. Bagged cookies will be distributed on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14^th.

Thanks to your AMAZING support of literacy and San Pablo, our school had the most participants in the county for the Chick-fil-a Literacy Night!! The faculty and staff will be celebrating with the superintendent, Mr. Pratt-Dannals, at a breakfast catered by Chick-fil-a! Thank you!

Thanks to our growing partnership with Chartwells, we are now offering several new a la carte items in the cafeteria lunch line. These items include Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Fruit by the Foot, Frozen Ice Bars, Breakfast Bars, and more, as healthier options for lunch snacks.

In addition, one day a week, we're welcoming "Chef Katie" who offers students many healthy food items to taste and try out. We are very excited about these new opportunities and more! Click here for additional information.

San Pablo is Filling Buckets with Energy!

Our theme this year, “Filling Buckets with Energy,” is based on the book, “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” The book has generated a nation-wide movement to build character and self-esteem through giving encouragement and helping hands to each other. The premise is simple ~ we all carry an invisible bucket in which we keep our feelings about ourselves. When our buckets are full, we are happy, and when they are empty we are sad. We are able to fill our own buckets and each other’s buckets by helping each other, giving sincere compliments, and showing respect to others.

At San Pablo, we celebrate our “bucket-fillers” every week! Each classroom has a bucket for collecting notes of good deeds. We share these on the morning announcements, and celebrate the kindnesses shown to each other. We invite our parents, families, and community members to talk with our students about “filling buckets,” and we encourage you to come into the school and fill some buckets yourselves! We’re sure you’ll see that it’s a warm and wonderful way to build a caring and supportive community. :o) If you’d like more information about this concept, check out www.bucketfillers101.com.
