Panther Library Check Out Policies

Kindergarten: Students will be allowed to check out one book at a time and they may keep the book for one week.  Students will begin checking out books at the end of the first nine week grading period.

First Grade: Students will be allowed to check out two books at a time and they may keep the book for one week.

Second Grade-Fifth Grade:  Students will be allowed to check out two books at a time and they will be allowed to keep the books for two weeks.

Fines will be assessed for lost or damaged books.  If your child has lost or damaged a book from our school or a previous school, he/she will not be allowed to check out books from the library.  We will send home a notice with the book name and the price.  Parents are responsible for contacting the previous school if there is a fine due.  We can return books from previous schools if you still have the book.  We cannot accept payment for books from other schools.

Panther Care for Books

Books are special,

and need tender care,

so please be careful

and do not rip or tear.

This happy panther

 who's looking fine,

says books need care

whether rain or shine.

When your books are due,

don't be blue!

Just bring them back to

you know who!

A book is truly a friend

indeed,

there's nothing more fun

than a good book to read!
