Striving For Excellence In Education
Our school is named after Florida's state tree, the Sabal Palm. It was built for approximately $9,000,000 and started serving students as an accredited Duval County Elementary School in August, 1990. We serve over 1300 students in Kindergarten through five and exceptional education students as well.
Sabal Palm is supported actively by the Parent Teacher Association on a daily basis, with many volunteers assisting in the classrooms, earning the state Golden School and Five Star School Awards. |
|
| We offer full-time teachers for all academic areas as well as art, music, physical education, computer, media and guidance. Beautiful facilities with art lab, music lab, multipurpose gym/auditorium and media center. Our technology department offers a state-of-the-art computer lab, computer networking throughout the school, closed-circuit TV and Internet access. We have dedicated volunteers and an
Extended Day Program that meets the needs of working parents, while also enriching the child's educational day.
Sabal Palm is a Florida Department of Education
Five Star School; this is the highest honor a school can
receive in recognition of community participation. |
