Here’s what Mrs. George has to say about Caleb: Caleb can read many sight words, knows all upper- and lower-case letters and most numbers up to 20, which is very impressive. Outside of school, Caleb plays soccer, rides horses, takes computer classes and enjoys hanging out with his family and friends. Caleb is a lot like any other boy or girl, but he has something that’s a little special–an extra chromosome. This extra chromosome can make some things a little bit harder for him to do. Sometimes it takes him longer to learn things, but it’s OK because he accepts this and accepts the special things about other people. Different is OK, in fact, different is awesome! Whenever I see Caleb, I think about how different and special we all are!
