I am excited to be a part of
the Southside family. Our staff is comprised of dedicated, caring, and
committed educators. Our #1 goal is a continuous focus on academic
excellence.
The learning theme for the 2009-2010
school year is “Lights, Camera, Action…” You will see evidence of the
theme throughout the school and learning activities. As principal
“director”, my goal is to set the stage and support each of our teacher
“producers” as they prepare our student “stars” for a stellar
performance.
My message to each stakeholder is: know
that each day we enter into our building ready to engage in rigorous and
meaningful work. We enter with the expectation that we will be
successful. We enter knowing that respect and compassion are at the
heart of relationships. We enter knowing that, if we dream, believe, and
do, we will leave each day having come closer to achieving our ultimate
goal.
