Incentive Fund - $9.5 Million
Competitive grant to support
the development and implementation of performance-based
compensation systems for teachers and principals in
high-need schools. District proposal targets six
Turnaround high schools in the development of a system
over the next five years. If funding is granted, a
cohort of 10 additional Turnaround schools would be
added each year starting in Year 2. For more

Current Status:
DCPS proposal submitted to USDOE on
July 6, 2010. Duval was one of 62 grants awarded funding
on September 23, 2010
