Art Appreciation

The Dorothy Rowlett Visual Education Center
Housed in the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, this Center provides thousands of art reproduction, videos and slides to Duval County arts and classroom teachers. The Center is the only one of its kind in Jacksonville and only one of a very few in the state of Florida. Its consultant is a Duval County certified art teacher with a background in art history.

The Center makes these reproductions available on a check out basis by calling 630-6514.

The Visual Education Center
The Visual Education Center also provides training to volunteers who wish to take reproductions into the classroom setting.

To become an art enrichment volunteer, contact Fran Phelps at 630-6514.
