Gifted resources

The National Association for Gifted Children (www.nagc.org) is a non-profit organization of parents, teachers, educators, community leaders, and other professionals who unite to address the unique needs of all children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents, as well as those who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.

Building on a rich history dating back to 1980, the Duke University Talent Identification Program (a non-profit organization) is dedicated to being a national leader in identifying academically talented students and providing innovative programs to support the development of their optimal educational potential. Duke TIP offers two talent searches: one for students in fourth and fifth grades and another for students in seventh grade. Go to www.tip.duke.edu for more information.
