Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) works with the Chief Human Resource Officer to review requests for reasonable accommodations under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). A person with a disability may submit an application (see downloadable forms below) to the OEI. A site visit will be scheduled after the documents are reviewed in order to speak with the applicant and her/his supervisor. A determination will be made thereafter as to the appropriate accommodation available, taking into account the district’s resources. Accommodations are granted for a period of one year only. Applicants must renew their application annually.
