Lending Library
Do you want to integrate technology in the classroom but don't have the equipment? No problem! Duval County Public Schools has access to a lending library of equipment. Each library consists of the items pictured below. These items are lent out for a period of 5 school days.
When you click on a small picture at the top, a larger view will open with an example of how it can be used in the classroom. Click the arrows on the ends to scroll to the right and left to see all of the items. The lending library is funded by the EETT Grant. If you would like to check an item out, contact your Regional Instructional Technology Coordinator.

AlphaSmarts can be used as a word processor and easily downloaded into a Word document. Students can carry it with them to the media center or desk. |

CPS Chalkboards are mobile wireless devices that let you move around the room and still control the computer like you are sitting in front of it. |

Classroom Performance System can be used to gather feedback from each student instantaneously! Making a question bank is all you need to do! |

Digital Video Camera can be used to tape lessons, recitals, performances, etc. Just make sure you have parental/guardian permission before you record. |

Document Cameras are a very popular checkout item. These are perfect for projecting images, labs, procedures, etc. The possibilities are endless! |

Sony Mavicas are digital camera that save to a floppy disk. No software has to be loaded and makes this a great way to record a special lesson. |

Scanners are available to scan special student work that you would like to save digitally. |

LCD Projectors are available for checkout. Check with your media specialist first and call us second. Chances are we have one available for check out. |
