How to use the online Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Directory
The directory is lists Minority Businesses certified by Duval County Public Schools. These businesses listed in alphabetical order and are divided into four specialty categories:
- Construction
- Professional Services
- Suppliers
- Other Services
Each business also has an MBE code designation. Here is the key to the MBC code abbreviations:
- AA = African American
- AA/WBE = African American Women Business Enterprise
- AP = Asian American
- A/WBE = Asian Women Business Enterprise
- HA = Hispanic American
- H/WBE = Hispanic Women Business Enterprise
- NA = Native American
- WBE = Women Business Enterprise
DCPS, and any other certifying agency, have made a determination that the entities show herein are certified as MBE participants based solely on their own representations of ownership, management and licenses in the date of application.
You are encouraged to exercise due diligence and ascertain for yourself which MBE participants are qualified to perform specific portions of work for you on any particular project.
