At the end of each school year, Duval County Public Schools must report all Master In-service activities (workshops/activities) to the FDOE electronically. The Master In-service Plan is a five year document that must be updated and approved annually by the Duval County School Board and the FDOE. It includes the Teacher Induction Program (T.I.P.), Comprehensive Plan for Non-certificated Personnel, Principal Preparation Program, etc. The plan also includes in-service educational components for all employees from all fund sources. The district provides training from the M.I.P. at no cost to the employees or schools. Master In-service Points can be used towards recertification of a Professional Teaching Certificate and/or Increase in pay. Before conducting any in-service training, a request must be submitted and approved prior to the start date.
