Our School Board is the official policy- making body for all education-related issues in Duval County Public Schools.

Your enthusiasm, participation and feedback are encouraged and welcomed by the board. All School Board meetings are open to the public. The board welcomes opportunities to receive information from parents, businesspersons, citizens. all community members.

Each month, the School Board will conduct meetings throughout the county, creating a forum for members of the district community to discuss issues, concerns and share in celebrations about Duval County schools. Find out more about our Community Meetings.

The Duval County leadership team has reinstated the distinction of Master Board by completing the 22-hour curriculum of the Master Board Program. Duval County now joins 34 other school districts who currently hold the distinction of Master Board.
