What it Means to be a Board Member
The Duval County School Board consists of 7
members elected by their constituents. They are
the official policy-making body for all
education related issues for the Duval County
Public School System.
The current salary for a Board Member is $37,300.00.
salaries are governed by Florida Statute Chapter 145.

SALARY OF SCHOOL
BOARD MEMBERS 2.24
Effective upon approval, and continuing the first
regular meeting following the organizational meeting in
November of each year thereafter, the annual salaries of
the Board members shall be
adjusted as provided by law.
