Online Pay Stubs Make the
Grade with Duval County Public Schools
National Payment Corporation
has partnered with Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) to
provide the district with paperless pay stubs. DCPS is
always looking for ways to cut payroll expenses, and
using the EZStub service will save time and money that
had previously been spent on the creation and
distribution of paper pay stubs. Those resources can
then be used to meet school needs.
EZStub users can view their
pay stub information online 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. According to Stacy Anthony, sales director for
National Payment Corporation, “now employees can also
receive their pay stub information online, via e-mail,
or as a text message on their cell phone or PDA."
DCPS is taking steps to save
millions of dollars. These opportunities were presented
as recommendations from Project INVEST, a task force
commissioned by Superintendent Joseph Wise and the
Alliance for World Class Education. One of its
recommendations was for DCPS to implement electronic pay
stubs. “The goal of Project INVEST is to create a
better and more efficient system that will benefit our
students, staff and our taxpayers,” said Superintendent
Joseph Wise.
DCPS chose National Payment
Corporation because EZStub is compatible with DCPS’
current processes and can be deployed rapidly at a
relatively low cost. Implementation of EZStub will
reduce DCPS’ current costs by an estimated $80,000 each
year and these savings will be re-directed to the
classrooms.
