  • Stanton College Preparatory is the alma mater of Astrophysicist Christopher Conselice, who has worked with the Hubble Telescope studying how and when galaxies form and has authored a recent cover story in Scientific American delving into the controversial topic of dark energy.

  • Don Brewer Elementary School coordinated a community reading event for its students.  Nearly 60 guests visited the school during the event to read to the students.  Special guests included representatives from community organizations and local businesses, plus student athletes from Edward Waters College.
