DCPS Winter Holiday Schedule

Monday Dec. 17 - Friday, Dec. 21
Schools are closed for weather days, but district offices are open. All 12-month (261 days) employees and all 10-month clerical, 10-month District custodial and 10-month security guards are scheduled to work this week. If principals are going to close their schools this week and have any employees who are scheduled to work, including themselves, these employees will have to voluntarily take leave or will have to be allowed to work at another worksite pursuant to applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Monday, Dec. 24 - Tuesday, Jan. 1
Schools and district offices are closed. All district and school-based employees are off and no one has to take leave. The only exception to this would be if there is an emergency and an employee is called in to work, or there is an agreement between a supervisor and an employee to work during this period.
