Budget Services Donated to Hubbard House

office, the staff decided to give back to a local
non-profit, Hubbard House. They collected three, full
bags of toys, school uniforms, toiletries and other
much-needed supplies.
Joseph
Stilwell Middle School Students Shared Holiday Spirit
Communities in Schools’ students at Joseph Stilwell
visited Nemours Children’s Clinic and the Towers of
Jacksonville on December 19 to spread holiday cheer and
greetings. The students distributed personalized
holiday greetings, sang holiday songs and exuded love
and compassion to the patients and residents during
their visits. The students are committed to reaching
out to the community in a positive way.
The students’ next endeavor
includes planning a “Sock-it-to-me” sock drive. They
are collecting new socks to donate to the residents of
the Towers of Jacksonville. Principal Lawrence Dennis, Communities in Schools’ teacher, Gloria Foster
Lawrence, and program manager, Rachel Kaltenberg, should
be commended for their support of these wonderful
outreach efforts.
