Englewood’s Interact Club
Helps Make “Dreams Come True”
Englewood High School’s Interact Club raised $3,000 to
help make a young woman’s dream come true. The young
woman has a brain tumor, and she has always dreamed of
traveling to New York City for a shopping trip.
Englewood’s Interact Club and the Jacksonville Rotary
Club joined forces and raised $3,000 to help make this
dream a reality.
Englewood’s Interact Club is
a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14
– 18. The program gives young people an opportunity to
participate in fun, meaningful service projects while
developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.
Englewood’s Interact Club will host a “Celebration of
Life” party on Wednesday, March 14, in which the
students will meet the young lady whose dream they
helped make a reality.
