"And the winner is...REAL
School"
Edition #1008 of Real School,
one of two television programs produced each month by
Duval County Public Schools and WJCT-TV, has been
nominated for a 2007 Emmy Award from the Suncoast
Chapter, National Academy of Television Arts and
Sciences.
The edition of REAL School,
titled “Best of DCPS” is competing in the Magazine
Program category against “Celebrate South Florida,”
BECON, Ft. Lauderdale; “South Florida Today,” WXEL-TV,
Boynton Beach; and “Primetime London,” WKMG-TV, Orlando.
The announcement of the winner will be made at the
Suncoast Chapter’s annual awards dinner on Saturday,
December 1 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee.
REAL School is produced and broadcast each month by
WJCT-TV with financial support from Duval County Public
Schools. WJCT also produces a monthly interview-style
program, School Matters. |
