A letter from our Superintendent: Strategic Plan
Dear Principals, Teachers and staff,
For the past several months, we have been working with community members, staff and a task force of the Alliance for World Class Education to develop a long-range Strategic Plan. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to look at the Strategic Plan draft and complete the survey to help us create a plan that is best suited for Duval County Public Schools.
The plan is a road map for the work of our school district during the next four years. It spells out the board's vision, mission, core beliefs and commitments. It also details six goals and specific measurable strategies to reach them.
Thank you for your participation and ongoing support of Duval County Public Schools.
