Jefferson Davis Middle School to Host Community Health Fair
This Saturday, November 7, Jefferson Davis Middle School will host its first annual Community Health Fair. The event will be held at the school, 7050 Melvin Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free services include finger printing and identification cards for children, blood pressure diagnosis and information about breast cancer awareness. Vendors such as Anytime Fitness gym, Vystar Credit Union, Avecina Medical and Solantic will be in attendance. For more information, contact Donna Bryant at 904.573.1060 ext. 163.

Andrew Jackson High School to Host Alumni and Community Meeting
On Thursday, November 19, the faculty, staff and alumni of Andrew Jackson Senior High will
gather for an alumni and community meeting. Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and the program will start promptly at 6 p.m.
The focus of the meeting will be a "State of the School" Address, and what the community and school alumni can do to get involved. For more information, contact the school at 904.630.6950.
Regions Bank/Northeast Florida Education Guide Front Cover Art Contest
Clements Publishing Co. and Regions Bank invite all Duval County Public Schools’ students to participate in their 2nd Annual Cover Art contest. This year’s theme is "What does going green in your school mean to you?"
