MAP Performance Pay Bonuses for Teachers and School-based Administrators
On Wednesday, September 30, 2009, MAP performance pay bonuses for the 08-09 school year will be paid to more than 1,900 teachers and school-based administrators by direct deposit. A few teachers may get paper checks if they are in the process of changing banks. The bonus is $2,330 (minus taxes) for all who qualify. As a reminder, this year the total amount allotted by the state legislature for MAP was approximately $5.3 million. This is $1.7 million less than last year; therefore, the number of teachers receiving the award is smaller than last year.
A document containing a list of everyone receiving MAP bonuses is available on
the home page of the district
Web site. Individuals are identified by PIN number.
The Map Appeal Form, with specific directions for staff members who feel they did not receive the MAP bonus due to a mistake,
can also be found on the district Web site. This appeal form must be completed
and e-mailed as specified on the form by October 6th at 11:59 p.m.
