The Great Jacksonville Book Sale

On March 5-7, Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library will host the Great Jacksonville Book Sale at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. There will be tens of thousands of books available ranging from 50¢ to $2.00. Admission and parking is free. All proceeds benefit the Jacksonville Public Library. National Transportation Week Local Fifth-Grade Poster Contest

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has invited all DCPS fifth-grade students to participate in its annual National Transportation Week Poster Contest. This year’s theme is "Transportation: Moving the Region."

DCPS to Host Community Budget Meetings

Please join Superintendent Pratt-Dannals as he hosts a series of community meetings to discuss Duval County Public Schools’ current and upcoming financial situation, available revenue, and the district’s plan to meet its mission of providing all students with high quality educational opportunities.

All meetings will be begin at 6 p.m. at the specified high schools on the following dates: Thursday, March 11 at Sandalwood High School; Tuesday, March 16 at Peterson Academies of Tech; Thursday, March 18 at Jean Ribault High School; and Tuesday, March 23 at Mandarin High School.
