New Berlin Elementary:
Literacy Beach Bash

After being open just three short years, New Berlin Elementary already has the community support needed to make any event successful. The annual Literacy Bash provides the students with alternative ways to read for fun and is also a favorite within the community. This year’s event was themed “Literacy Beach Bash,” to coincide with the school’s theme of “Ride the Tide and Discover New Depths.” Along with various activities, several reading stations were available for the students to experience with their parents and friends. The Literacy Pumpkins, on display in the Media Center were created by each class and the students were able to vote on their favorite. Come along and ride the tide!
