Walk Across America

Students at Pine Forest Elementary took a journey from Jacksonville to California . . . by foot. The school participated in the first annual Walk Across America event where students were issued pedometers and required to walk a certain number of steps per day. Teachers and administrators kept track of the student’s steps and also corresponded the curriculum with the cross-country haul.
