Florida’s Commissioner of
Education, Dr. Eric J. Smith, has asked local
libraries to assist parents who do not have
computers or Internet service at home. “We
encourage parents to be involved in every aspect
of their student’s education. Accessing the
student’s FCAT scores at the time of their
release is important because scores often affect
student placement decisions for the following
year,” he said.
Letters to DCPS parents
with a student’s unique log-in ID and password
will be distributed by schools in May.
