A Day Made Better by OfficeMax Surprises Local Teachers

WHO:
Duval County Public Schools’ teachers selected from among 1,300 educators nationally for the OfficeMax ‘A Day Made Better’ campaign.

WHAT:
OfficeMax will surprise five local teachers with donations of more than $1,000 in school supplies during an in-class ceremony at each of the teacher’s schools. The ‘A Day Made Better’ program is one of the largest national grassroots school advocacy campaigns seeking to eliminate “teacher-funded” classrooms.

WHEN:
Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 10 a.m.

WHERE:
Ceremonies will be held at five elementary schools:
