Media Advisory: Chinese Language and Culture Celebration
WHO:
Duval County Public Schools students and families, and the Jacksonville Chinese American Association.
WHAT:
More than 100 Duval County students will recite literature, conversational dialogue and present music and art demonstrations at the first Chinese Language and Culture Celebration.
The public is invited to this free event where they can enjoy authentic Chinese food while learning about the culture through performance.
Duval County Public Schools currently offers a Chinese Language Program at five schools, with an additional school providing Chinese instruction during their after school Team-Up program.
