Duval County School Board Recognizes Employees
and Community Members during Monthly Meeting

JACKSONVILLE - At the monthly meeting of the Duval County School Board, Board members and Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals recognized staff members and members of the business community for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Duval County Public Schools (DCPS).

During the presentation portion of the meeting, which began at 6 p.m. in the Cline Auditorium, 1701 Prudential Drive, the following people/organizations were recognized:

  • Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, Aramark Education and Potter's House Christian Fellowship were honored for their financial support and volunteer efforts to DCPS;
  • The DCPS Business Services Department was recognized for being the first department or school to complete Service Excellence Training; and
  • Coach Earl S. Kitchings was honored during a tribute to the Matthew Gilbert Senior High School football team that won the 1958 Florida Interscholastic Athletic Association’s State Championship.
