Media Advisory: Instructional Enhancement Team Speakers
The Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) Instructional Enhancement Team will welcome the following speakers at its upcoming meeting about early childhood learning:
- Susan Main, the Executive Director of the Early Learning Coalition of Duval, who will discuss early school readiness; and
- Dr. William “Sonny” Walker, a national lecturer, trainer and facilitator of early childhood education, who will address eliminating the achievement gap by promoting early school readiness.
Also in attendance will be representatives from the Mayor’s Office, Jacksonville Public Library, Jacksonville Urban League, Jacksonville Children’s Commission, Florida Institute Education at UNF and other community organizations.
