Duval County Public Schools Hosts Community
Information Sessions on Budget Shortfall

JACKSONVILLE - Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) will be talking with the community about the anticipated $170 million budget shortfall for the 2009-10 school year.

Below is a schedule of the meetings. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend for information on the potential impact the shortfall may have on our schools.

All meetings begin at 6 p.m. (with the exception of Fletcher, see below). Dates and locations are:

• Wed., Feb. 11, at 7 p.m., Fletcher High, 700 Seagate Ave., Neptune Beach
• Mon., Feb. 23, Wolfson High, 7000 Powers Ave., Jacksonville
• Tues., Feb. 24, Ribault High, 3701 Winton Dr., Jacksonville
• Wed., Feb. 25, Ed White High, 1700 Old Middleburg Rd., Jacksonville
• Thurs., March 5, Sandalwood High, 2750 John Prom Blvd., Jacksonville
