Media Advisory: Fifth Grade Recognition Ceremony
WHO:
More than 500 Duval County Public Schools' (DCPS) fifth-grade students, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals, School Board Members, First Coast News Anchor Angela Spears (host) and the Alden Road Exceptional Student Center JROTC.
WHAT:
DCPS will honor five percent of each elementary school's fifth-grade students at the annual Fifth Grade Recognition Ceremony.
Students will be recognized for a variety of achievements, including academics, improvement over the years, special talents, participation in school-wide activities, or for the honors and recognitions they have received.
