Duval County Public Schools to Observe
Summer Hours
Jacksonville, FL - During the
summer months, Duval County public schools and offices are closed each Friday.*
Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.*
*With the exception of some summer school programs.
The summer schedule will begin June 15th and will continue through August 6th.
Duval County Public Schools operates more than 160 schools and serves
approximately 125,000 students. The school district is committed to
providing high quality educational opportunities that will inspire all
students to acquire and use the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a
global economy, and culturally diverse world.
