Media Advisory: Community Outreach Day
at Carter G. Woodson Elementary School
WHO:
Carter G. Woodson Elementary School students, faculty members and parents, vendors from the local community, as well as State Representative Mia Jones, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals, School Board Member Betty Burney and other district representatives.
WHAT:
Carter G. Woodson Elementary School, in partnership with the A. B. Coleman Mortuary, is hosting its first annual "Community Outreach Day" to emphasize the importance of community and parent involvement in the education process.
Every Carter G. Woodson student in attendance will receive a free backpack with supplies. All attendees will receive a free lunch.
