Duval County School Board Recognizes Staff
and Business Partner during Monthly Meeting
Jacksonville, Fla. - During the presentation portion of the September meeting of the Duval County School Board, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals and Board members recognized the following staff members and a district business partner for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Duval County Public Schools:
- Joni Shook, district guidance counselor, was recognized for being named the 2008-2009 Outstanding Advocate for School Counseling from the Florida School Counselor Association;
- Chaffee Trail and Twin Lakes Academy elementary schools were recognized for being named 2009 Florida Power-Library Schools by the Florida Association of Supervisors of Media; and
- Domino's Pizza was honored for its contributions and support of the students and staff of Duval County Public Schools.
