Duval County School Board Announces Superintendent's Evaluation
Jacksonville, Fla. - Duval County School Board members today provided Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals with his evaluation for the period of October 2008 to October 2009.
The Superintendent was evaluated in seven areas of responsibility, including relationships with the Board, community relationships, staff and organizational relationships, educational leadership, fiscal leadership, personal qualities and an overall performance rating.
"This process allowed us to have a great conversation with the Superintendent on a range of issues, including increasing academic achievement in the district, as well as the goals in the Strategic Plan," said Board Chairman Tommy Hazouri. "The Board is committed to working with Superintendent Pratt-Dannals to ensure that we continue making progress and ensure the success of all students in Duval County."

Overall, the School Board rated the Superintendent as "Highly Effective" and cited Community Relationships, Fiscal Leadership and Personal Qualities as his strongest assets.
Ed Pratt-Dannals was named the Superintendent of Duval County Public Schools in October 2007.
