New School Board Chair and Vice Chair Appointed
Jacksonville, FL - Today, during a Duval County School Board organizational meeting, Brenda Priestly Jackson was appointed Chairman of the Board and Nancy Broner was appointed Vice Chairman, replacing Tommy Hazouri and Brenda Priestly Jackson respectively.
Chairman Priestly Jackson represents District 4 and joined the School Board in November 2002. She served as chairman of the School Board from November 2005-November 2006.
Filling the Vice Chairman seat is Nancy Broner. Nancy Broner represents District 2, and was also elected to the School Board in 2002. She served as chairman of the School Board from November 2004-November 2005.
