Media Advisory: Illustrator Soentpiet to Visit Schools
WHAT:
Illustrator and author Chris Soentpiet will visit several DCPS' elementary schools to perform for students and/or parents. Soentpiet has illustrated more than 15 children's books, including the famous Silver Packages.
Students at many of the schools have been reading books that Soentpiet has illustrated, and have made their own exhibits based on the literature.

January 11-15, 2010
WHERE:
The author will visit the following elementary schools during his time in Jacksonville: Sabal Palm, Jacksonville Heights, Fort Caroline, Enterprise Learning Academy, Alimacani, Abess Park, Greenfield, Arlington, Ortega, Gregory Drive, Windy Hill, Greenland Pines and Crown Point.
