Media Advisory: Census in Schools Kick Off

WHO:
The Honorable Mia Jones, Florida Representative - District 14, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals, School Board members, and the students, faculty and staff of Martin Luther King Elementary School.

WHAT:
To bring awareness to the upcoming 2010 census and the Census in Schools program “2010 Census: It's About Us,” Representative Jones and Superintendent Pratt-Dannals will host a pep rally for the school’s fifth-grade students.

The Census in Schools Program teaches students about the importance of the census, in hopes the children will help deliver the message to their families.
