Media Advisory: Chets Creek Elementary Students at Portside Receive New Media Center
WHAT:
A dream is coming true for more than 200 children who live in the Portside at the Beaches neighborhood and attend Chets Creek Elementary. Thanks to the generous donations of American Residential Communities (ARC), a media center has been established at Portside for students of the school.
American Residential Communities is the owner of Portside at the Beaches, one of 265 communities managed by the company. The company is one of the largest operators of manufactured housing communities in the country, providing affordable home ownership opportunities to more than 44,000 residents in 23 states.
The newly renovated Academic Resource Center at Portside is complete with five computer stations that will provide students with online access to the academic support offered to all Duval County Public Schools’ students.
Join the students and staff of Chets Creek Elementary, as well as American Residential Communities and Portside residents, for an official ribbon cutting and grand opening event. The celebration will include the school’s business partners: Scholastic Books, Bonanza Books, Chick-fil-A at Hodges and Beach, and The UPS Store of Ponte Vedra.
