Media Advisory: Englewood Elementary School
Presents Three Short Films
WHAT:
A world premier and red carpet event, Englewood Film Studios: Three Short Films, will feature films created by the students of Englewood Elementary:
- Mother Goose Lets Loose - a musical claymation movie where nursery rhymes come to life, created by the Englewood fourth-grade clay and music club;
- Spike! Adventures in Weather - a hand-drawn cartoon short by the fifth-grade animation club in which one boy’s birthday keeps getting interrupted by extreme weather events; and
- Inventing Disaster - the fifth-grade film club has created a rollicking science adventure movie about how a new student reacts to bullies by creating an invention that catapults other students into immersive science experiences.
Claymation sets, animation drawings and backgrounds, as well as props from the films will be on view in the theater lobby. Special behind the scenes footage and bloopers will be shown as well.
