Media Advisory: 8th Annual Reading Celebration at Metro Park
WHAT:
More than 8,000 Duval County Public Schools’ students are expected to attend the 8th Annual Reading Celebration organized by Duval County Public Schools, WJCT, the Jacksonville Public Library and Chartwells-Thompson.
The celebration is designed for all ages to enjoy. The entire family is treated to an “extra special day” full of prizes and storytellers. Metropolitan Park comes to life filled with fun activities sponsored by numerous community organizations that support the importance of reading.
